Hello,
It's impossible to compile the code on Arduino IDE and Visual Studio Code.
Can you help me?

I tried compiling in Arduino IDE. It doesn't work; there are multiple errors. Probably due to the library versions.
So I started modifying the code to try to adapt it, but there were so many "errors" that I gave up.
Then I tried in VSCODE, but with the files modified for Arduino IDE.

By downloading a clean version from GitHub, it works perfectly.

Do you think it would be possible to make a French version?

I looked at compiling in the Arduino IDE; I'll update the instructions so that it does work.

I had a quick glance at that. That implementation is very different. The user must change code to set its own preferences and compile everything; there are no released binaries. His coding style is terrible IMHO; it looks more like an obfuscated C contest entry to me.
I had to look up what GMC is; there is no explanation whatsoever.

With regard to multiple language translations, that approach (having 8 different complete source trees, one for each different language) is the worst ever; It would be a maintenance and testing nightmare.
