Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-006-INT (?)
- SCP-006-INT refers to a phenomenon in the Mediterranean Sea where parts of the seafloor mysteriously transform into buildings resembling Islamic architecture at irregular times. These structures vary in detail, sometimes even incorporating natural elements or wreckage as decoration, and attract many fish. To contain this, the affected areas are designated as nature reserves with surveillance posts, and each newly formed structure must be destroyed after 100 days. There are several theories about its origin, including falling buildings from a hidden sky region called Magonia, manifestations of ancient Tartessian cities, remnants of an advanced marine civilization, or reappearing islands of the ancient "Sea Peoples" whose cloaking devices have expired. Recently, objects like flowers and messages in bottles, often expressing sentiments of longing for a home, have been observed sinking to these sites.
- Marie Byrd Land (?)
- Marie Byrd Land is the largest unclaimed territory on Earth, a vast region in West Antarctica named after the wife of American naval officer Richard E. Byrd, who extensively explored it in the early 20th century. This remote area is covered by the immense West Antarctic Ice Sheet, featuring significant glaciers and ice streams that drain into the Ross and Amundsen Seas. It has been a site for numerous research camps and stations, including the important Byrd Station, which have facilitated studies on ice cores and the region's climate history. Geologically, Marie Byrd Land is part of the West Antarctic Rift System, characterized by volcanic activity and the presence of a deep mantle plume.
